The Education and Training Section of the hospital is responsible for all administrative matters pertaining to the induction, training and certification of all trainees inducted into the various training programme of JPMC. . Innumerable research publications have emanated from this institution and have been published in reputable national and international journals.

  • Preference to two years teaching in relevant specialty in any recognized Medical Institution or Medical College or Medical University.

  • Course outline and Fellowship awarded by College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan
  • Induction through entrance test.
  • Month of Announcement: June & December each year — Entrance test date will appear closer to time on Website.
  • Date of Commencement of training: July & January each year
  • Allocation 2.5 doctors per bed
  • Monthly Stipend of Rs. 42,500 available for fixed number of candidates.

MCPS (Anaesthesiology)

  • MBBS with one year house job recognized by PM&DC
  • Course outline and membership awarded by College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan
  • Month of Announcement: June & December each year — Entrance Test date will appear closer to time on Website.
  • Commencement of training: July & January each year
  • Induction Through entrance test
  • No monthly stipend available

  • MBBS with one year house job recognized by PM&DC
  • Fellow of College of Physicians & Surgeons Part-I (FCPS-I).

  • Monthly Stipend of Rs.24, 000 available for fixed number of candidates.

Pre-requisites for Nursing Degree/Diploma Courses

General Nursing & Midwifery Training Course (Only for female)

  • F.Sc. (Pre-medical) minimum 50% marks

OR
Matric with Physics, Chemistry and Biology minimum 55% marks.

  • Preference will be given to candidate with F.Sc.
  • Age: 15-30 years
  • Induction through entrance test.
  • Open merit
  • Marital status: Single (preferably)
  • Stipend & allowances as admissible under the existing rules
  • Course outline and certificate awarding by: Pakistan Nursing Council

Post RN B.Sc Nursing Degree Programme

  • 03 years General Nursing Diploma with at least 2nd Division duly verified from concerned Nursing Examination Board.
  • Registered Nurse by Pakistan Nursing Council, with valid registration certificate.
  • One year Diploma in Midwifery mandatory for female candidates.
  • One year sub-specialty Nursing Diploma Course in any discipline recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council Mandatory for male candidates.(Mandatory for male candidates.)
  • A Minimum of two years professional experience in any recognized hospital.
  • Induction through entrance test.
  • Course outline and degree awarding by: Pakistan Nursing Council
  • Month of Announcement: July each year and entrance test date will appear closer to time on Website

One Year Post Basic Specialized Diploma Courses in Nursing.

  • 03 years General Nursing Diploma with at least 2nd Division duly verified from concerned Nursing Examination Board.
  • Registered Nurse by Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad with valid registration certificate.
  • Induction through Entrance Test conducted by Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Karachi.
  • Course outline and degree awarding by: Pakistan Nursing Council
  • Month of Announcement: September each year — Entrance test date will appear closer to time on Website
Pre-requisites for Paramedics Technician Training Courses
  • Matric (Science) with minimum 45% marks.
  • Preference will be given to Hafiz-e-Quran on merit.
  • Induction through interviews by course coordinators of JPMC
